“The morning will begin with the Budget presentation by the Premier and Minister of Finance, David Burt, moderated by Arthur Wightman, Territory Leader, PwC Bermuda, which will be followed by a question & answer session from the audience.

“The Economic Forum will feature:

  • The Hon. Minister, Jason Hayward, JP, MP – Ministry of Economy & Labour
  • The Hon. Minister, Crystal Caesar, JP – Ministry of Education
  • Deputy Premier & The Hon. Minister, Zane DeSilva, JP, MP – Ministry of Housing & Municipalities
  • Marico Thomas, President of the Bermuda Chamber of Commerce

“The enhanced format is designed to move beyond analysis of the Budget itself and focus squarely on practical implications for employers, investors, and industry leaders. Attendees will hear expert insights, engage in moderated discussions, and participate in a structured Q&A session, with questions vetted to ensure a professional and productive dialogue.”

“The fact that the event sold out within hours reflects the strong appetite within Bermuda’s business community for informed, solutions-focused discussion,” the Chamber said. “At a time when economic competitiveness, labour supply, housing availability, and education reform are central to Bermuda’s future, it is critical that Government and business engage directly.”

The spokesperson said, “The Chamber extends its appreciation to PwC Bermuda for its continued support of this important forum and its commitment to advancing informed economic dialogue.”
