“The 2026 Summit focuses on five main themes: Global Governance and Effective Leadership, Societal Wellbeing and Capacity Building, Economic Prosperity and Emerging Opportunities, Urban Futures and Evolving Demographics, and Future Realities.

“Additionally, Minister Hayward participated in the Future of Economy Forum centered on the theme ‘Future of Trade and Economy’, joining a session entitled ‘Recalibrating Economic Priorities for 2026’. If I were there I would hang my head in shame.
Minister Hayward said ‘how we can collectively drive smart investment and foster a culture of sustainable innovation.’ Simply put Bermuda is an extremely difficult place to be an investor and the reason is because the government makes it so hard. Not other factors, government. There are so many hurdles here and it is so hypecritcal to see Minister Hayward spouting how good Bermuda is but us here on the island find it like pulling teeth. Becareful when you invest in bermuda because its the government that will be your biggest challenge.
