The 2026 Carnival in Bermuda Launch Event was held last night, with the event including a panel discussion and live performance from Aalai Wolffe.

A spokesperson said, “Carnival in Bermuda officially launched its 2026 season last night with a dynamic media event that unveiled the official programme, theme, and headline performer for what promises to be six unforgettable days of culture, music, and celebration.

“Carnival in Bermuda 2026 will take place June 10th to June 15th, 2026, reinforcing its role as a cornerstone of Bermuda’s cultural and tourism calendar and welcoming international visitors to experience the island through celebration, creativity, and community connection.”

“Carnival in Bermuda is no longer just a moment on the calendar,” shared the Carnival in Bermuda team during the launch. “It is a strategic national platform that welcomes international visitors, amplifies local talent, empowers youth, and showcases Bermuda’s culture to the world through music, movement, design, and storytelling.”

A spokesperson added, “The 2026 theme centres on feeling Carnival, not just attending it. From sunrise to sundown, from the water to the road, and from family and community to pure, unfiltered vibes, Carnival in Bermuda 2026 promises a multi-layered experience rooted in culture and connection.

“The weekend will feature a vibrant mix of events including family-friendly programming, all-inclusive experiences, soca fetes, dancehall heat, Jam J’ouvert, sunrise experiences, water-based events, and the iconic Revel de Road Parade. Events across the weekend will be delivered in collaboration with Carnival in Bermuda’s event promoters and partners, offering a diverse mix of experiences for locals and visitors alike. The committee also teased that there may be a few exciting moments popping up in the lead-up to Carnival Weekend.

Headline Performer Announcement

“One of the evening’s biggest moments came with the announcement of Machel Montano as a featured headline performer for Carnival in Bermuda 2026. Revered as one of the most influential voices in Carnival music, Montano’s catalogue has soundtracked generations across the Caribbean and diaspora.

“Carnival isn’t just about where we go,” the host shared during the reveal. “It’s also about who moves us. Machel Montano embodies the legacy, longevity, and power of Carnival.”

Culture, Conversation, and Community

“The launch also featured The Carnival Conversation, a panel discussion exploring Carnival’s broader impact, followed by a live performance from Aalai Wolffe, the 2025 Singer Songwriter Competition winner, highlighting the platform’s continued investment in nurturing Bermudian talent.
