Traffic Notice For Ed Sherlock 8K Run/Walk
The Ministry of Public Works and Environment advised that “the annual Ed Sherlock 8K Run/Walk will take place on Sunday, February 8, 2026, between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.”
A Government spokesperson said, “The event will start at the junction of South Road and Eastdale Lane. Participants will travel east along South Road, turn left onto Camp Road, then left onto Spice Hill Road. The route continues with a right turn onto Camp Hill Road, a left onto Middle Road, and proceeds west to Barnes Corner. Runners and walkers will then turn left onto South Road and continue to the finish at the Rangers Club, just east of Horseshoe Road.
“Race Marshals will be positioned along the route to assist with traffic control. Motorists are urged to proceed with caution, follow all instructions from Marshals, and be mindful of participants on the road.
“No road closures are planned for this event. However, the Bermuda Police Service is authorised to close streets or portions of streets and manage parking as deemed necessary by the Commissioner of Police.
“The Ministry apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks the public for its cooperation. For further information, please contact the race representative, Vernal Durham, at 747‑3737.”
