Bermy Barkus Dog Parade On Feb 28
PadsPass will host Bermy Barkus, a ticketed dog costume parade and community celebration, Saturday, February 28 at The Botanist in the Bermuda Botanical Gardens.
A spokesperson said, “His Excellency the Governor, Andrew Murdoch, will serve as guest judge. The event brings local dog parents together for an easy, joyful afternoon of parade energy, photos, prizes, and community spirit, with ticket proceeds donated to the Bermuda SPCA.
“Bermy Barkus is a casual, family-friendly event where dogs [and their humans] are encouraged to dress to this year’s theme: Travel. Check-in opens at 3:00 PM, the parade begins at 3:30 PM, and judging and crowning begin around 4:00 PM.
“Bermy Barkus will crown four winners: King, Queen, Jester, and Knight [reserved for a rescue dog].
“A free PadsPass Pet ID is required for entry. PadsPass will be on-site starting at 2:00 PM to help anyone set up a Pet ID in a few minutes.
