Daniel Phillips Wins Doubles Match For Tulane
Bermudian Daniel Phillips and the Tulane Men’s Tennis team were defeated 7–0 by No. 21 LSU at the LSU Tennis Complex in Baton Rouge.
Despite the team result, Phillips and his doubles partner Lance Nisbet recorded a victory. The pair defeated LSU’s Sasa Markovic and Andrej Loncarevic by a score of 6–4. LSU secured the doubles point after winning the remaining matches.
In the number one singles position, Phillips faced Olaf Pieczkowski, who holds a ranking of 502 on the ATP Tour. Phillips was defeated in straight sets, 6–4, 6–1.
