Football: DR Congo Defeat Bermuda 2-0
Bermuda’s senior national team lost 2-0 to the Democratic Republic of Congo at Jalisco Stadium in Guadalajara, as the two sides met for a friendly match.
Fiston Mayele scored in the 45th minute after reacting first to a loose ball inside the penalty area to give DR Congo a 1-0 lead at the break.
The lead was doubled in the 51st minute when Newcastle United forward Yoane Wissa converted a penalty after returning to international duty following injury and missing the Africa Cup of Nations.
