Athletes Impress In Florida Triathlon
Bermuda’s athletes delivered a series of top-ten finishes at the Clermont Draft Legal Triathlon in Florida.
Riana Robinson led the way in the Youth Girls’ division, placing fifth in 38min 19sec. She recorded a swim split of 6:39 and a bike leg of 18:03 before closing with an 11:30 run.
Zara Bule finished eighth overall in 39:52, clocking splits of 6:00 for the swim, 19:12 on the bike and 12:31 on the run. Isla Cooze was fourteenh in 41:05, while Madeleine Friend placed eighteenth in 42:11.
In the Youth Boys’ division, Ethan Smith secured tenth place in 34:37, posting splits of 5:10 for the swim, 16:48 on the bike and 10:40 on the run.
Spencer Haldeman finished sixteenth in 36:03, Maxwell Williams was 24th in 39:13 and Ronan Davidge 25th in 39:27.
In the men’s under-25 category, Dylan Eiselt placed 34th in 1:01:41, while Lucas Bule was 66th in 1:06:19.
Madison Schindel competed in the women’s under-25 division, finishing 55th in 1:15:46.
