Massassi Maxwell Smith Earns Top Ten Finish
Bermudian athlete Massassi Maxwell-Smith recorded a top-10 finish at the Myrtle Beach Collegiate Challenge in South Carolina, leading her performances for Coker University at the meet held at Doug Shaw Memorial Stadium.
Maxwell Smith placed sixth in the women’s triple jump with a best mark of 9.79 metres [32 feet, 1.5 inches], competing in a strong field. She also ran in the women’s 200 metres, clocking 28.15 seconds to finish 54th overall in a large field of competitors.
