Muso & McDaniel Finish 3rd In NCAA Opener
Bermudian golfer Dylan Muso and his McDaniel College teammates finished the opening day of the NCAA Premier Collegiate Tournament in third place, keeping the squad within contention for a podium finish.
The tournament at Williamsburg National Golf Club marks the first competitive event of the spring season for the Green Terror. McDaniel ended the first 18 holes with a team score of 13-over-par [301].
Salisbury University leads the 11-team field after carding a 1-over-par 289, while Drew University holds second place at 4-over-par 292. McDaniel remains nine strokes behind second place entering the final round of competition.
Muso led the McDaniel effort with a 4-over-par 76. His opening round included 11 pars and one birdie. The Bermudian’s scorecard also recorded three bogies and one double bogey.
