PLP Responds To CARICOM Flyer Circulation
The PLP said they “strongly condemn the misleading flyer currently being circulated in our community regarding full CARICOM Membership.”
A spokesperson said, “At a time when a national consultation is underway, Bermudians deserve facts not material designed to mislead and alarm.
“This flyer manipulates facts, and exaggerates worst-case scenarios in an attempt to create fear and confusion.
“Our people deserve better than this.
“Genuine concerns should be raised openly, honestly, and not through selective and misleading documents spread by individuals who hide their faces, their names, and their true intent.
“That is why we call on the Opposition One Bermuda Alliance to make their position clear to Bermudians: Do they support this kind of divisive underhanded tactics or stand with Bermudians in rejecting it?”
