April 6-7: Lane Closure For NSC Light Repairs
The Ministry of Public Works & Environment has advised motorists of a temporary northbound lane closure on Frog Lane from April 6–7, to facilitate light fixture repairs at the National Sports Centre’s Flora Duffy Field.
A spokesperson said, “The Ministry of Public Works & Environment wishes to inform the motoring public that the National Sports Centre – Flora Duffy Field will be undertaking light fixture repairs starting on Monday, April 6th through Tuesday, April 7th, 2026.
“The repairs will require a lane closure on Frog Lane for the northbound lane from Montpelier Road through to Devon Lane.
“The lane closure will take place from 9:00am to 4:00pm.
“Traffic controls will be under the direction of National Sports Centre representatives utilizing barricades, signs, and cones.
“Motorists are asked to travel through this section safely or detour via Parson’s Road or Palmetto Road.
“The Ministry of Public Works & Environment encourages the full cooperation of the motoring public and apologises for any inconvenience that may result.
