Video: Chyna Talbot Designs King’s Baton
The official unveiling of the King’s Baton for the Glasgow Commonwealth Games at Government House highlighted the exceptional talent of designer Chyna Talbot, whose artwork captures the iconic aspects of Bermuda.
The Bermuda Olympic Association said, “At just 26 years old, Chyna is helping carry Bermuda’s creativity onto the Commonwealth stage. With this design, she wanted to reflect Bermuda’s colours, identity and spirit. Creating a baton that feels unmistakably Bermudian among those from across the Commonwealth.
“Her work will become part of the King’s Baton Relay, a tradition that connects Commonwealth nations and territories ahead of the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, taking place July 23 to August 2, 2026. Let’s celebrate Chyna, her artistry, and this proud moment for Bermuda art and sport.”
