Frog Lane Closure Rescheduled For April 14-15
The Ministry of Public Works and Environment has announced that the Frog Lane closure for National Sports Centre light repairs has been rescheduled to April 14 and 15 due to inclement weather.
A Government spokesperson said, “The Ministry of Public Works and Environment advises the motoring public that the previously announced lane closure on Frog Lane in Devonshire for National Sports Centre light repairs has been amended due to inclement weather, which prevented the work from proceeding on 6 April and 7 April as originally scheduled.
“The work will now take place on Tuesday, 14 April and Wednesday, 15 April 2026, between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. each day. The lane closure will affect the northbound lane of Frog Lane from Montpelier Road to Devon Lane.
“Traffic controls will remain under the direction of National Sports Centre representatives using barricades, signs and cones. Motorists are asked to travel through the area with caution or use Parson’s Road or Palmetto Road as alternative routes.”
