Miles Outerbridge Wins Gold Medal At Carifta
Bermuda’s Miles Outerbridge has made an extremely impressive showing to win the gold medal in the 100 metres at the Carifta Games in Grenada, setting a new Bermuda record time 10.21 seconds. The race has just concluded and we will update with additional information as able.
Update: DeVon Bean said he was immensely proud of Miles Outerbridge after the sprinter broke his long-standing national 100 metres record to win gold at the Carifta Games in Grenada. Bean, now the Bermuda National Athletics Association’s director of athletics, said he was beyond proud to see his 30-year mark surpassed, saying: “Seeing Miles eclipse the mark I’ve held for so long bring me a level of pride that words can barely capture.”
