Motorcycle Rider Arrested For Multiple Offences

Police arrested a motorcycle rider who had several outstanding warrants, was riding while disqualified and was also riding an unlicensed and uninsured bike.

A police spokesperson said, “Shortly after 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, police officers were on mobile patrol along Dundonald Street, Pembroke, when a motorcycle rider traveling at a high rate of speed, overtook theirs, as well as a number of other vehicles.

“The officers caught up with the male motorcycle rider after he stopped at a nearby service station.

“As they attempted to speak with him, he sped off and failed to stop at several red lights and stop signs as he sped through and out of the city.

“He lost control of the motorcycle near Shelton Road, Pembroke and fled on foot, but was eventually caught on The Lane, Paget.

“Checks revealed the suspect had several outstanding warrants for similar offences was riding a motorcycle while disqualified from operating all vehicles until 2027. His driver’s license was expired and the bike he was riding was unlicensed and uninsured.

“He was subsequently was arrested and taken into custody

“The Bermuda Police Service again advises members of the public to co-operate with officers performing their lawful duty. Also, please ensure your vehicles are properly licensed and insured and that your driver’s license is up to date.

“Also, please be reminded, Roadside Sobriety Checkpoints are now in effect and will be until and including Sunday, April 5, 2026.”

    Wow! These guys are not the most useful books in the library are they.

    Banned from the roads. Got warrants. Yet does nothing to lay low and not attract attention. He does exactly the opposite. Blows past police then gives chase committing even more serious offences.
