The EFL report said, “Nahki Wells is the hero for Luton Town. The veteran forward grabbed the Final with both feet and used his experience to help fire the Hatters to victory.
“He’s no stranger to a Wembley goal, having risen to the occasion for Bradford City all the way back in 2013 with former Club Bradford City in the Sky Bet League Two Final.
“He also converted from 12 yards for Huddersfield Town in the 2017 Sky Bet Championship Play-Off Final. But this afternoon, he netted a brace and will be forever remembered by these supporters.”
