Traffic Diversions Due To ‘Sewage Spill’
The Ministry of Public Works and Environment advised that a “sewage spill caused by a sewer main blockage has occurred on Dutton Avenue, Pembroke, near the entrance to Marsh Folly Road.”
A Government spokesperson said, “Response crews are on site carrying out emergency clean-up operations. The affected area has been cordoned off by police, and traffic controls are in place.
“Motorists are advised to avoid the area for the rest of the afternoon and use alternate routes where possible to allow crews to complete the clean-up safely and efficiently.
“The Ministry thanks the public for its patience and cooperation.”
