Video: Angelique Robinson On ‘Chopped’ Show
Bermudian Chef Angelique Robinson, the owner of the Charlotte-based restaurant Kuro Mama, appeared this week on the Food Network television series Chopped.
The episode featured Ms Robinson, along with other contestants, navigating the show’s signature format of creating dishes from a basket of mystery ingredients under strict time constraints.
In announcing that she would be on the show, the accomplished Chef posted on social media saying, “Kuro Mama is stepping into the Chopped kitchen. This plate carries everything—Afro roots, Japanese influence, and the kind of love and discipline that built me. Every move, every flavor… intentional. I’m not just cooking—I’m representing where I come from and what Kuro Mama stands for.”
