Video: Nicholas Christopher Sings ‘Anthem’
Nicholas Christopher’s recording of the song ‘Anthem’ from the Broadway musical Chess has been released ahead of the full Original Broadway Cast Recording.
The song, which closes Act 1, has become a standout moment in the production, with Christopher’s performance drawing strong audience response.
The release follows an earlier track from Lea Michele, who recorded ‘Nobody’s Side’ for the album.
Christopher is starring as Soviet chess champion Anatoly Sergievsky in the production.
The 2025 revival of Chess features a new book by Danny Strong, with music and lyrics by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus, and lyrics by Tim Rice.
The full cast recording will be released on April 10.
