Mama Bermuda To Host ‘Touch A Truck’ Event
Mama Bermuda will host the Touch A Truck community event at Bernard’s Park on May 31, inviting families to explore emergency, construction, and service vehicles while supporting local charities P.A.L.S. and Beyond Inclusion.
A spokesperson said, “Mama Bermuda is excited to invite families across the island to Touch A Truck, a free, high-energy community event taking place on Sunday 31st May 2026 at Bernard’s Park, Pembroke, from 9am to 12pm. No registration required – just come down and join the fun.
“Kids of all ages will have the chance to get up close with emergency vehicles, water trucks, buses, and construction vehicles – climbing on, exploring, and meeting the drivers behind the wheel. It’s loud, it’s hands-on, and the little ones absolutely love it.
“Food and drink vendors will be on site to keep families fuelled throughout the morning and there will be a raffle with great prizes including vouchers for The Loren, BDA Watersports, Dolphin Quest and AOK Fitness.
“While the event is completely free, attendees are warmly invited to donate $5 in support of two incredible local charities:
- “P.A.L.S. [Patient Assistance and Life Support] – A Bermuda cancer care charity providing free, compassionate home-based support, medical equipment, respite care, transportation, and emotional assistance to individuals and families affected by cancer. pals.bm
- “Beyond Inclusion – A registered Bermuda charity dedicated to creating a more inclusive and accessible community for individuals of all ages with support needs, including disabilities and special needs. beyondinclusionbda.com
“All donations go directly to these organisations.
