Dage Minors Doubles Up At Oxford Meet
Middle-distance runner Dage Minors competed at the Iffley Road Track during celebrations marking the 70th anniversary of Roger Bannister’s sub-four-minute mile.
Representing Bristol and West AC, Minors raced in the Men’s Mile against a strong field organised by the British Milers Club and Oxford University Athletic Club.
The Bermudian finished tenth in 4min 12.15sec on the historic track where Bannister broke the four-minute barrier in 1954.
Minors later returned for the Men’s 1,500 metres, placing eleventh in 3:53.46.
