Chare Smith Scores 26 Runs In Defeat
Bermuda cricketer Chare Smith scored 26 in Frenchay First XI’s 23-run defeat at home to Bath First XI in the West of England Premier Cricket League Bristol & North Somerset at the weekend.
Batting at No 11, Smith struck one four and three sixes in a 14-ball innings as Frenchay were bowled out for 215 in 40.1 overs.
Frenchay fell short of their revised target of 239 from 43 overs.
Batting first, Bath scored 200 for four from 44 overs, with seam bowler Smith recording figures of 9-1-48-0.
