Tyler Smith Reflects On Half-Marathon Win
Tyler Smith has reflected on his maiden win in the Bermuda Half-Marathon Derby yesterday [May 22].
Smith, who competed in triathlon at the Olympic Games in Paris in 2024, stormed to victory, completing the 13.1-mile course in 1hr 10min 49sec.
Ryan Outerbridge placed second in 1:15:06, with Lamont Marshall rounding out the top three in 1:15:42.
“Breaking the tape on Bermuda Day … childhood dream accomplished,” Smith wrote on social media.
“Goals grow and perspectives change but this race is in our blood.
“Now a small part of 117 years of history. Thanks for all the kind messages and support on the course.”
