Youth Movement In Color Set For May 16
Families, organizations, youth groups and members of the running community are invited to take part in Swan’s Running Club’s “Youth Movement in Color” community 3K Color Event on May 16 at the Police Recreation Club, with proceeds supporting the Teen Advisory Board and the Young People’s Department of the AME Bermuda Conference.
A spokesperson said, “Calling all families, organizations, youth groups and the running community!
“Swan’s Running Club is hosting a community 3k Color Event on Saturday, May 16th, 2026 starting at 6:00 pm at Police Recreation Club.
“This non-competitive event’s aim is to get people out and moving. Walk, jog, dance, or run the 3K course — all while passing through music and stations and getting showered in bursts of vibrant coloured powder. [corn starch based]
“The event is entitled “Youth Movement in Color” and its aim is to get people active and moving and having fun. Two youth groups have been identified to benefit from the funds raised from the event: The Teen Advisory Board and the Young People’s Department of the AME Bermuda Conference.
“There will be energetic music, a party atmosphere, and lots of laughter, it’s a celebration of movement, community, family and joy — open to all ages.
