Bascome & Coventry Claim Six Wicket Victory
Bermudian cricket player Okera Bascome contributed with both the bat and in the field as Coventry & North Warwickshire CC secured a six-wicket victory over Stratford-upon-Avon CC in the Warwickshire County Cricket League Premier Division in England.
Coventry & North Warwickshire won the toss and elected to field, with Stratford-upon-Avon scoring 195-8 in 50 overs. Bascome held a catch to dismiss Simon Heath off the bowling of Sameer Vohra.
In reply, Coventry & North Warwickshire reached 196-4 in 34.1 overs. Bascome scored 23 off 16 balls, including three fours and one six, while Akshaykumar Patel struck an unbeaten 72 off 43 balls to help guide the side to victory.
