Condolence Book For Sir John Swan
A Condolence Book will be available for the public to sign at the Cabinet Office starting from Tuesday, June 16th.
A Cabinet Office spokesperson said, “We continue to keep Sir John’s family in our thoughts during this time of their bereavement.” The Cabinet Office today advised the public of the following arrangements:
- A Book of Condolence will be available for the public to sign from Tuesday, 16th June at 10:00 am at the Cabinet Office, 105 Front Street
- Flags on all Government buildings will remain at half-mast until sundown on the day of Sir John’s funeral
- Government Offices will close at 12:00 pm [noon] on the day of the funeral
- Further details on the funeral service will be issued in the coming days
“Sir John lived a full and incredible life. The celebration of his decades of service to Bermuda will reflect his clear wishes and the Government of Bermuda continues to support his family at this difficult time.”
