Govt Offices & Schools Close At Noon On June 24
Government offices and public schools will close at noon on June 24 due to Sir John Swan’s funeral, the Government has advised.
A Government spokesperson said, “The Cabinet Office is reminding the public that government offices, including Bermuda public schools, will close at noon on the day of Sir John Swan’s funeral, Wednesday, June 24.
“As a reminder:
“The public may sign a Book of Condolence from 10:00 am at the Cabinet Office, 105 Front Street.
“Flags on all Government buildings will remain at half-mast until sundown on the day of Sir John’s funeral.
“Further details on the funeral service will be issued in the coming days.”
