St. David’s Cricket Club, Cleveland County and Warwick Workmen’s Club recorded victories in the latest Premier and First Division cricket matches.

Premier Division

St. David’s Cricket Club 132/8, St. George’s Cricket Club 131

St. David’s Cricket Club defeated St. George’s Cricket Club by one run in a Premier Division match at Lord’s.

After winning the toss and electing to field, St. George’s restricted St. David’s to 132/8 from 20 overs. Dean Simons led the batting with 44, while Keegan Jones returned bowling figures of 2 for 13 from two overs.

In reply, St. George’s were bowled out for 131. Jonte Smith was the top scorer with 37.

Derrick Brangman led the St. David’s bowling attack with figures of 5 for 23 from four overs.

First Division

Cleveland County 124/8, Willow Cuts 107/6

Cleveland County defeated Willow Cuts by 17 runs at White Hill Field.

After winning the toss and electing to field in the 14-over match, Willow Cuts saw Cleveland County post 124/8. Steven Bremar Jr was the top scorer with 39, while Bharani Mookaiya returned figures of 3 for 21 from three overs.

Willow Cuts replied with 107/6. Ras Solomon Burrows scored 27, while Shaquille Pitcher led the Cleveland County bowling attack with figures of 3 for 20 from three overs.

Warwick Workmen’s Club 181/4, Flatt’s Victoria 100/5

Warwick Workmen’s Club defeated Flatt’s Victoria by 81 runs at Lord’s.

Warwick Workmen’s Club elected to bat and scored 181/4 from 20 overs. Tre Manders led the innings with 75 from 58 balls, including seven fours and three sixes. Menish Karade claimed 2 for 23 for Flatt’s Victoria.

In reply, Flatt’s Victoria finished on 100/5. Treadwell Gibbons was unbeaten on 32, while Kamau Leverock returned bowling figures of 3 for 16.
