Emma Harvey Sets 50m Butterfly Record
Bermuda swimmer Emma Harvey set a new national record in the Women’s 50m Butterfly at the Mare Nostrum Swim Series in Barcelona, Spain.
Competing at the Club Natació Sant Andreu, Harvey finished the A Final in 26.54 seconds. The time lowered her previous Bermuda national record of 26.59 seconds, which she established at the USA Swimming Pro Swim Series in Austin, Texas.
The former UCLA swimmer qualified for the final during the morning preliminary sessions, recording a time of 26.76 seconds.
