Gerhard Erasmus Named Smash MVP
Namibian cricketer Gerhard Erasmus has been named the Most Valuable Player in the Bermuda Smash Invitational after impressing with bat and ball.
Erasmus, the Namibia captain, helped the Pembroke Panthers win the title by beating the Sandys Spartans by 58 runs in the final at the North Field, National Sports Centre.
He finished the tournament with 222 runs, six wickets and five catches, with a highest score of 104.
Erasmus was also named MVP last year.
