Machel Montano To Headline 2026 Waves Event
WAVES is set to return to Admiralty House Park on June 13th, featuring international soca star Machel Montano.
A spokesperson said, “Get ready for one of Bermuda’s most unique summer events as WAVES returns to Admiralty House Park on Saturday, June 13, 2026. WAVES is Bermuda’s premier Soca in the Water experience, bringing together great music, incredible energy, and unforgettable summer vibes both on land and in the crystal-clear waters of Admiralty Cove.
“Headlining this year’s event is the return of international soca superstar Machel Montano. Widely regarded as the “King of Soca,” Montano’s return to Bermuda has generated tremendous excitement among local fans. With a career spanning more than four decades and an unmatched catalogue of hits, he remains one of the most influential and celebrated performers in Caribbean music.
“This year’s headline performance will feature Machel Montano in a dynamic DJ-supported format, accompanied by his dancers, delivering a nonstop, high-energy experience designed to keep patrons moving from start to finish.”
Party People Entertainment executive member Keidric Smith said, “We’re incredibly excited to welcome Machel Montano to a Party People Entertainment event for the very first time.
“Our team has more than 20 years of experience producing events and being part of Bermuda’s carnival and soca culture, so having the opportunity to work with an artist of Machel’s caliber is a proud moment and something we’ve looked forward to for a long time. The spokesperson said, “WAVES is all about embracing the water experience, and patrons are encouraged to come dressed accordingly. Bring your swimwear, gather your crew, and be prepared to get in the water and enjoy the event the way it was meant to be experienced. Swim shoes or water shoes are strongly recommended for added comfort when entering and exiting the water.
“Guests are welcome to bring their own inflatable rubber rings and floats; however, there will be plenty of giveaways and inflatables available throughout the day.
