PLP ‘Central Committee On The Road’
The PLP invited the public to attend its “Central Committee On The Road” meeting at Paget Primary School on Monday evening [June 8], featuring a presentation by the Bermuda Road Safety Council.
A PLP spokesperson said, “This Monday, 8 June, the Progressive Labour Party is taking its Central Committee meeting out of Alaska Hall and into the community, and you’re invited.
“‘Central Committee On The Road’ comes to Paget Primary School at 6:30 p.m., featuring a presentation from the Bermuda Road Safety Council. This meeting is open to everyone, and residents of Paget East, Paget West and Warwick North East are especially encouraged to come out.
“The Central Committee is the heartbeat of our Party, the avenue through which the ideas of everyday Bermudians rise up and become the work of our movement. Taking it on the road is about meeting people where they are, in their own community, on their own terms. I want residents to see for themselves how this Party truly works, and to know that the decisions made in our name begin with their voices.
“We will also be joined by Senator the Hon. Kim Wilkerson, Attorney General and Minister of Justice, and the Hon. Tinee Furbert, Minister of Youth, Social Development & Seniors.
“So come as you are. Bring a neighbour, bring your questions, bring your ideas, because there is a seat at this table for every one of us. We’ll see you Monday.”
