Police: 911 Phone Lines Fixed After Brief Outage
[Updated] The Bermuda Police Service has advised that its regular telephone numbers, including 911, are currently not working and has provided temporary contact numbers for the public to use until further notice.
Police Statement
A police spokesperson said, “Currently, the regular police telephone numbers are not working, including 911.
“Until further notice, please use the following telephone numbers instead:
- 755-1625
- 755-1622
- 755-1623
- 755-1624
“Update to follow.”
BHB Statement
A spokesperson said, “The current Digicel outage is impacting 911 calls. Members of the public with medical emergencies can contact the Emergency Department at 239-1301. We will issue an update when 911 is running again.”
Update 10.35am: A police spokesperson said, “The regular police telephone numbers are working once again. The Bermuda Police Service thanks the public for their patience and understanding.”
