Southampton Rangers secured the Premier Division title after defeating Willow Cuts by 512 runs, while St George’s Cricket Club and Warwick Workmen’s Club also recorded victories in the latest round of domestic cricket.

In the First Division, Devonshire Recreation Club defeated PHC by five wickets, while Cleveland County recorded a 44-run victory over Flatts Victoria.

Premier Division

Southampton Rangers 557, Willow Cuts 45

Southampton Rangers were crowned Premier Division champions following a commanding 512-run victory over Willow Cuts at Southampton Oval.

After electing to bat, Rangers scored 557 in 47.5 overs, with Allan Douglas producing an unbeaten 218 from 79 deliveries, hitting 15 fours and 21 sixes.

Onias Bascome scored 114, including eight fours and ten sies, off 60 balls.

Willow Cuts were then dismissed for 45 in 12.4 overs, with Ras Solomon Burrows top-scoring with 22.

Delray Rawlins claimed four for four, while Douglas completed an outstanding all-round performance by taking four for 19.

The victory left Rangers unbeaten with five wins and 50 points, securing the Premier Division championship.

St George’s Cricket Club 238/7, St David’s Cricket Club 75/9

St George’s defeated St David’s by 163 runs in a 45-over contest at St David’s.

Macai Simmons led the St George’s batting with 66 from 73 deliveries, while Jonte Smith scored 55 from 63 balls.

Keegan Jones added 38 as St George’s reached 238 for seven.

Isaiah O’Brien was the leading St David’s bowler with figures of three for 32.

St David’s finished on 75 for nine after 23.1 overs, with Ricardo Brangman top-scoring with 27.

Rahul Sapra returned impressive figures of six for 12 from 5.1 overs.

Warwick Workmen’s Club 289/7, Somerset Cricket Club 246

Warwick Workmen’s Club defeated Somerset Cricket Club by 43 runs.

Kamau Leverock led Warwick with 93 from 50 deliveries, hitting seven fours and eight sixes. Tre Manders scored 56, while Malachi Jones struck 55 from just 19 balls, including six fours and four sixes.

Somerset produced a spirited response but were dismissed for 246 in 34.3 overs. Dominic Sabir scored 108 from 70 balls, hitting four fours and 11 sixes, while Amari Ebbin contributed 66.

Luke Horan led the Warwick bowling with figures of four for 31, while Leverock completed a strong all-round performance by taking three for 43.

First Division

PHC 113, Devonshire Recreation Club 115/5

Devonshire Recreation Club defeated PHC by five wickets after reaching their target in 22.5 overs.

PJ Thomas claimed four for 31 and Orlando Maulseed took three for 24 as PHC were dismissed for 113 in 24.5 overs.

Jahmari Beach provided the main resistance with 48 from 54 deliveries.

Gerald Simons led Devonshire Rec with 27.

Cleveland County 215/8, Flatts Victoria 171

Cleveland County defeated Flatts Victoria by 44 runs at Wellington Oval.

Makai Young led the Cleveland batting with 84 from 123 deliveries, hitting six fours and one six, while Shaquile Pitcher contributed 36 from 30 balls.

Jamin Furbert was the leading Flatts bowler with figures of three for 33.

Flatts were dismissed for 171 in 44.1 overs despite Menish Karade scoring 67 from 71 deliveries, an innings that included six sixes.

Young completed an excellent all-round performance by taking three for 30.
