August 3-10: Lane Closure In Hamilton Parish
The Ministry of Public Works and Environment advised that a lane closure will be in effect on North Shore Road near Crawl Hill in Hamilton Parish from August 3 to August 10 to facilitate essential inspections.
A Government spokesperson said, “The Ministry of Public Works and Environment advises the public that a lane closure will be in effect on North Shore Road near Crawl Hill, Hamilton Parish, from Monday, August 3, 2026, through Monday, August 10, 2026. Work will take place daily between 7:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. to facilitate essential inspections.
“The lane closure is required to allow for the inspection of an existing fuel transmission line that delivers fuel from SOL to BELCO.
“Motorists should expect traffic delays in the area and are encouraged to plan their journeys accordingly. Traffic will be managed by Island Construction representatives using stop-and-go signs and, where necessary, temporary traffic lights. The Ministry appreciates the public’s patience and cooperation while these works are carried out.”
