Child Day Care Allowance To Increase
The Government provided a reminder that the Child Day Care Allowance for eligible families with two or more children is set to increase.
A Government spokesperson said, “From 1 September 2026, the Government is increasing the Child Day Care Allowance for eligible families with two or more children in day care through the Child Day Care Allowance Amendment Regulations 2026.
“The changes are designed to help ease the rising cost of child care, improve access to quality early childhood care, and support more parents to remain in the workforce.
