Bermuda’s two scheduled North American Cup matches against the Bahamas on Friday [September 25] were washed out by rain at the Jimmy Powell Oval in George Town, Cayman Islands.

Bermuda and the Bahamas shared the points after their North America Cup match at the Jimmy Powell Oval in the Cayman Islands was abandoned without a ball being bowled because of heavy rain and thunderstorms.
Persistent morning rain saturated the outfield, while electrical activity and standing water prevented play from starting.
Each team received one point from the no-result.
NAC Game 2 Bermuda and Bahamas Washed Out Again
Bermuda and the Bahamas’ second scheduled North America Cup match at the Jimmy Powell Oval was also abandoned without a ball being bowled because of heavy rain and thunderstorms.
Standing water covered the outfield and electrical activity prevented the afternoon match from taking place, completing a washout of Friday’s scheduled double-header.
The no-result means Bermuda and the Bahamas will meet again Saturday in a second-versus-third playoff for a place in the final.
The winner will face hosts Cayman Islands in Sunday’s final.
