Daniel Augustus Wins Johnnie Walker Classic
Daniel Augustus won the Johnnie Walker Classic at Ocean View Golf Course this weekend/
Augustus entered Sunday with a two-under-par 68 and maintained his lead with three birdies and 15 pars in the final round. He finished six strokes ahead of the field.
Nick Jones shot a matching 67 to finish second at one over par. His round included an eagle, three birdies and 12 pars, along with two dropped shots.
Chaka DeSilva and Mark Phillips tied for third at five over par after both carded three-over-par 73s.
DeSilva’s final round included four birdies, 11 pars, a bogey, a double bogey and a triple bogey. Phillips had four birdies, seven pars and seven bogeys.
Andrew Trott and Jonathan James tied for fifth at five over par. Trott shot a two-over-par 72 with two birdies, 12 pars and four bogeys. James carded a four-over-par 74 with one birdie, 13 pars, three bogeys and a double bogey.
