Improvements At Washington Mall Planned
Washington Properties said they are “continuing a major programme of improvements at Washington Mall and the office accommodations above it, with the latest phase now visible along Reid Street.”
A spokesperson said, “The ongoing investment is designed to modernise the property, improve sustainability and enhance the experience for tenants, shoppers and visitors.
“The current works include window replacement and refurbishment of office accommodation above the mall. They follow façade repairs and waterproofing completed earlier this year.
“Together, these improvements aim to strengthen the property’s long-term performance and resilience, enhance its appearance and help attract businesses and increase occupancy.
“Beyond the current improvements, Washington Properties is also progressing plans for an exciting new addition to Washington Mall. While details remain under wraps for now, the development represents another step in the property’s ongoing transformation. Further announcements will be made in due course.
“The scaffolding on Reid Street is the most visible sign of a much broader investment programme across Washington Mall and the office floors above it.
