Outerbridge Records Assist In Hobart Win
Bermudian midfielder La Zai Outerbridge recorded an assist as No. 21 Hobart College defeated Rochester Institute of Technology [RIT] 4-1 on Wednesday [Sept 23].
Outerbridge, who started the match, helped set up Will Slayton’s goal in the 50th minute, combining with Griffin Coutts as Hobart took a 2-1 lead.
RIT had gone ahead in the 26th minute through Gavin Culley before Brady Leitner equalised for Hobart shortly after half-time.
Slayton then put Hobart ahead, before Daniel Spataro and Leitner added further goals as the Statesmen scored four unanswered goals in the second half.
Outerbridge played 71 minutes and also recorded one shot during the match.
Hobart improved to a 7-1 record with the victory.
