Jessica Lewis Builds Towards Next Season
Para-athlete Jessica Lewis has returned to training as she begins preparations for next season.
“I’m in my second week of being back in my racing chair after some time off post Commonwealth Games!” Lewis said.
“Getting into the swing of base-season training which means lots of reps in the gym and cardio in the chair and ski erg.”
Lewis added: “I am so excited to be working towards another season of races with a second year of sponsorship with Arch Capital Group.
“Their support and encouragement has made a huge difference in my ability to prepare myself, my equipment and travel so I can compete at my best.”
The four-times Paralympian won bronze in the T54-53 400 metres at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow last month, finishing in 59.31sec.
She became the first Bermudian para-athlete to compete at the Commonwealth Games.
