Single-Lane Closure On South Road, Devonshire
The Ministry of Public Works and Environment has announced a single-lane closure on South Road, in the vicinity of Devon Heights Road, Devonshire to accommodate road repair works.
A Government spokesperson said, “The Ministry of Public Works and Environment wishes to advise motorists that there will be rolling single-lane closures on South Road, in the vicinity of Devon Heights Road, Devonshire, from Tuesday, 8 September to Thursday, 17 September 2026, weather permitting.
“The closures will be in effect between 9:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. to accommodate road repair works.
“Traffic control will be managed by representatives of Joell’s Asphalt Services & Maintenance Ltd. Motorists are advised to avoid the area where possible and use alternative routes via Collectors Hill and Brighton Hill Road.
“Motorists travelling through the area should expect delays and exercise caution.
“The Ministry of Public Works and Environment encourages the full cooperation of the motoring public and apologises for any inconvenience that may result.”
