Fishing Boat Hauled From Water After Fire
Scott Barnes’s charter boat Hakuna Matata was hauled out of the water after it was destroyed by fire last week.
The boat caught fire off Saltus Island, with two people escaping serious injury.
Barnes, a well-known karting racer, said he was “devastated and still in shock” following the incident and thanked everyone involved in extinguishing the fire, as well as those who reached out to him.
A photograph shows Hakuna Matata being hauled out of the water, with extensive fire damage visible to the boat.
