Temporary Lane Closure On South Road
The Ministry of Public Works and Environment has advised a temporary lane closure remains in effect on South Road in the vicinity of Devon Heights Road to accommodate road restoration works.
A Government spokesperson said, “The public is advised that a temporary lane closure remains in effect on South Road in the vicinity of Devon Heights Road, with traffic being controlled by temporary traffic signals.
“Road restoration works are ongoing, and the lane closure will remain in place overnight as a safety measure due to the open saw-cut section of roadway.
“Temporary traffic management measures have been implemented to help protect motorists and other road users until the necessary restoration works can be completed.
“Motorists travelling through the area are asked to exercise caution, obey the temporary traffic signals, and reduce their speed when approaching the work zone. Some delays may be experienced.
“The lane closure will remain in place until the restoration works have been completed and the roadway can be safely returned to normal traffic operations.
“The Ministry of Public Works and Environment thanks motorists for their patience and understanding while these works are undertaken and apologises for any inconvenience caused.”
