Reminder Of Waste Collection Schedule
The Ministry of Public Works and Environment has reminded residents that household waste collection will follow a one-day roll-over schedule following the Labour Day holiday.
A Government spokesperson said, “The Ministry of Public Works and Environment is reminding the public that due to the Labour Day holiday, yesterday, Monday September 7, 2026, household waste collection will follow a roll-over schedule. On roll-over weeks waste collection days move over by one day resulting in waste normally collected on Monday being collected on Tuesday, Tuesday’s waste on Wednesday, ending with Friday’s waste being collected on Saturday.
“Residents should place their household garbage out by 7:30 a.m. on their revised collection day.
“There will be no change to recycling collections, as this week is not a scheduled recycling collection week.
