The World Match Racing Tour shared photographs from the visit online, saying, “A great pleasure to be back at the Government House, Bermuda to host the ‘Final Four’ teams of the 2026 Bermuda Gold Cup hosted by His Excellency Andrew Murdoch CMG, Governor of Bermuda.”
The Bermuda Gold Cup featured racing in Hamilton Harbour, with 12 international teams taking part in the World Match Racing Tour event. Organised by the Royal Bermuda Yacht Club, the 2026 regatta offered a $50,000 prize purse and introduced a new fleet of Fareast 28R match racing boats.
