Knowledge Quest Receives $50,000 Donation
Knowledge Quest [KQ] has received a $50,000 donation from the 39th Annual Convex End-to-End to help Bermudians pursue their educational and professional goals.
A spokesperson said, “Knowledge Quest [KQ] was honored to have been selected as a charity recipient of the 39th Annual Convex End-to-End, receiving a generous donation of $50,000 to enable Bermudians to pursue their educational and professional goals.
“The contribution has helped Knowledge Quest continue its mission of providing college and university bursaries to Bermudians of limited financial means, enabling them to develop the knowledge and skills necessary to achieve their professional goals, improve the quality of the workplace, and provide leadership and service to the community.”
“We are incredibly grateful to Convex and the End-to-End organizing committee for selecting Knowledge Quest as one of this year’s charity beneficiaries,” said Cynthia Cox, Director at Knowledge Quest. “This donation is a sound investment in Bermuda’s future. It will help deserving Bermudians gain access to the educational opportunities and support to reach their full potential.”
The spokesperson said, “The Convex End-to-End, in its 39th year, is one of Bermuda’s most impactful charitable events. Since its inception, the event has raised more than $7 million for local charities, supporting organizations that strengthen communities across the island.
“Knowledge Quest was proud to support this year’s event through volunteer participation at one of the water stations along the route manned by director Iva Taylor and volunteers, as well as through volunteers, graduates, and supporters who took part in the walk.”
“The Convex End-to-End brings together people from all walks of life in support of causes that make a real difference in Bermuda,” added Iva. “We are proud to have been part of this incredible event and deeply appreciate the generosity of everyone who participated, volunteered, donated, and helped make this contribution possible.”
