KPMG Announces Four Senior Promotions

KPMG in Bermuda has announced the promotions of Minesh Ranchod, Tom Neill, Knakita Bent and Irina Razumovskaya.

A spokesperson said, “KPMG in Bermuda has announced four senior promotions across its Audit and Tax practices, reflecting the firm’s continued investment in its people and its commitment to meeting the evolving needs of clients in Bermuda’s financial services market.

“Subject to immigration approval, Minesh Ranchod and Tom Neill have been promoted to Partner, while Knakita Bent and Irina Razumovskaya have been promoted to Director.”

Audit appointments

Minesh Ranchod, Partner

A spokesperson added, “Minesh Ranchod has been promoted to Partner in KPMG in Bermuda’s audit practice. Over more than a decade serving the insurance and reinsurance industry, he has advised a broad range of market participants, including captive insurers, commercial reinsurers and insurance-linked securities structures.

“Minesh has extensive experience leading complex audit and assurance engagements under US GAAP, IFRS and Bermuda statutory reporting frameworks. Recognised for his technical expertise, leadership and client focus, he plays an important role in advancing audit quality, innovation and talent development across the firm.

Knakita Bent, Director

“Knakita Bent has been promoted to Director in KPMG in Bermuda’s audit practice. An ACCA qualified audit leader, Knakita has more than 13 years of experience across Bermuda and Jamaica, serving local and international organisations operating in regulated and complex sectors. She joined KPMG in Bermuda in 2018.

“Knakita has extensive experience across asset management, investment funds, insurance, banking and pensions. She leads complex audit engagements and works closely with senior executives, boards and audit committees on financial reporting, governance and regulatory matters.

“Knakita also leads KPMG in Bermuda’s Asset Management audit cluster of approximately 20 professionals, overseeing resourcing, portfolio delivery, recruitment and professional development.

Tax appointments

Tom Neill, Partner

“Tom Neill has been promoted to Partner in KPMG in Bermuda’s tax practice. A US personal tax specialist with more than 20 years of experience, Tom advises high-net-worth individuals, executives, trusts and internationally mobile families on complex cross-border tax matters.

“As leader of KPMG’s Private Client team in Bermuda, Tom helps clients navigate US tax compliance obligations and planning opportunities in an increasingly complex tax environment. Before relocating to Bermuda in 2019, he practised in London, advising clients on both US and UK tax matters.

“Tom recently became Chair of KPMG in Bermuda’s Corporate Citizenship Committee, which is committed to the areas of youth development, education, health and the environment.

Irina Razumovskaya, Director

“Irina Razumovskaya has been promoted to Director in KPMG in Bermuda’s tax practice. With more than 15 years of experience in US and international taxation, she advises multinational groups on complex tax advisory, compliance and implementation matters.

“Since joining the Bermuda practice, Irina has played a key role in helping clients prepare for and respond to Bermuda’s Corporate Income Tax regime, while supporting the continued growth of the firm’s tax advisory capabilities.

“Before relocating to Bermuda, Irina held senior international tax roles in other global financial centres and provided a broad range of tax advisory services, translating complex and evolving US and international tax rules into practical advice, filing positions, and implementation plans.

“Irina is an attorney admitted to the New York State Bar and a member of the New York State Bar Association.”
