The 30th Annual Allshores Breast Cancer Awareness Walk took place on Wednesday [October 14], bringing the community together to raise awareness of breast cancer and support the fight against the disease.
A statement from the Bermuda Cancer and Health Center said, “For 30 years, Bermuda has walked together to protect the breast health of the women, and men, we love. This year, we’re marking 30 years since Bermuda’s first Breast Cancer Walk as the Pink Coalition — a community of survivors, families, caregivers, healthcare professionals, businesses, schools and supporters. We walk together, united by hope, compassion and action. The Allshores Breast Cancer Awareness Walk is more than an annual event. It is a community commitment to early detection, access to care, and ensuring that no one in Bermuda delays screening because of cost.”
